Meredith’s Background and Clinical Work

Meredith is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New York and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology with Teacher of Students with Speech/Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification from Ithaca College.

She is experienced in providing clinical services in the following settings:

  • Private practice

  • Home care

  • Teletherapy

  • Early childhood centers and preschools

Meredith has also held the role of supervisor of clinical fellows and graduate students through City Sounds of New York and New York University.

Personally, Meredith has enjoyed working with children and families her whole life, beginning as a young volunteer in her mother’s kindergarten classroom. Expansion into other contexts including childcare and leading a YMCA early childhood summer camp team naturally followed. As a result, Meredith’s evidence-based clinical work is augmented by incorporation of lively and interactive activities for young people of all ages including music, art, and creative storytelling.
